World Opera Competition final in Budapest on Saturday - Placido Domingo founded Operalia
Budapest - The final competition of Operalia 2009, founded by Placido Domingo, will be held in Budapest's State Opera on Saturday night.

The 13 competitors in the opera category will be followed by the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by the renowned tenor himself.
In the contest, the jury will select the three best female and male singers, to be awarded with thirty, twenty and ten thousand dollars.
Domingo founded Operalia in 1993, seeking to discover the most talented singers in the 18-30 age group.
