Roma house set alight in Tatarszentgyorgy

Budapest - Another house was set alight in Tatarszentgyorgy, the village where a man and his five year-old boy were shot dead last week in an incident involving arson, Orban Kolompar, the head of the National Gypsy Council, told MTI on Saturday. No one was injured in the attack.

Two unidentified attackers threw a petrol bomb into the house and fled the scene in a gray SUV vehicle, according to eye-witnesses, said a local Roma official.

The building was empty because the family had moved away, fearing an attack.

Firemen put out the fire and discovered material connected with a petrol bomb.

The fire service was alerted by people attending a vigil dedicated to the victims of last week's shooting. They reported that a building two houses away from the site of last week's arson and murder was in flames, Kolompar said.
