British actress Mirren films in Israel after Budapest
<b>Budapest</b> - British actress <em>Helen Mirren</em> has been in Budapest, which is standing in for the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie for scenes in a Nazi-hunting spy film under production, a local film website reported on Tuesday.
Mirren, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of the Queen, will soon return to Budapest after filming some of the final scenes in Israel, magyar.film.hu reported.
Mirren plays a retired Mossad agent forced to make amends after bungling the capture of a German war criminal.
It is reported that the 63-year-old actress even learnt Hebrew for the role.
Matyas Square in Budapest's rundown eighth district features in the film, whose working title is "The Debt", to be released in 2010.
